You Can Help!

We are always in need of monetary donations to help out our orphans, especially our special needs pets.

Please consider giving us a donation, whether it be $1 or $100. The animals always appreciate it. Groundspring.org donations are great, or checks can be mailed to us at the address below.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

This program allows kids and teens 11 to 17 years old to safely interact with the dogs and cats at the shelter under the supervision of a mentor. Besides playing with the animals, the youth volunteers have the opportunity to participate in fundraising, pass out treats, fill up water bowls, help with cleaning, and have a great opportunity to learn new things which can be beneficial in any future careers relating to animals. *SOME CONDITIONS APPLY! If you have any questions please contact the appropriate persons:

Click here for Application and Orientation Information.

Persons 11-17 years old interested in volunteering email: youthvolunteers@ccasnj.org

Persons 18 and older, you're too old for this program unless you bring a young person to volunteer!  If you want to volunteer, try this page instead

Thank you to our Youth Girl Scout and Boy Scout Volunteers!

Special Help Needed:

"Who's Been Out Today?" Cat Program

We need someone to ensure that the sheets on the clipboard in the adoption room are removed and replaced with blank sheets once they are completely filled out.  We also need someone to tally how many cats each volunteer has taken out each month.

We then can acknowledge the volunteer who has given the largest number of cats
"out of the cage" cuddle and play time during the month!
