Petsmart Adoption Centers

CCAS has cats and kittens for adoption at Petsmart in Cherry Hill, Moorestown, Lawnside, and Sicklerville.  Off-site adoption centers at Petsmart are a wonderful way to showcase cats outside of the shelter.  The more volunteers that help at our Petsmart centers, the more cats and kittens we send to their forever homes.

We always need volunteers for the following shifts:

Morning Shifts
     Monday-Friday:  Volunteers are needed in the mornings to tidy the center, scoop litterboxes, and fill food and water.  The volunteers may also let the cats out of their cages for playtime and exercise.  These shifts are typically 1-2 hours and can start anytime from 7am to 11am, depending on location.
     Saturday-Sunday:  These are our two biggest adoption days at Petsmart.  Morning cleaning is a bit more thorough so that the center is sparkling and ready to go by 11am, depending on location.  Shifts are typically 2 hours.

Afternoon Shifts
     Monday-Friday:  Due to the need for more volunteers, we currently do not schedule afternoon shifts during the week at Petsmart.  However, if you are able to spare even an hour in the afternoon to open the center, interact with the cats, and talk to potential adopters, we need you!
     Saturday-Sunday:  Afternoon volunteers are always needed from 1-4pm.  This shift is centered on showcasing the cats to potential adopters and answering questions from interested parties.

Evening Shifts
     Monday-Friday:  Volunteers are needed from 6-8pm on weekday evenings.  This shift involves letting the cats out for playtime and answering questions from potential adopters.
     Saturday-Sunday:  Due to the need for more volunteers, we currently do not schedule evening shifts during the weekend at Petsmart.  However, if you are able to volunteer from 6-8pm on Saturday or 4-6pm on Sunday, we need you!
